I call Noordhoek "Cape Town's backwater" and "the lentil curtain" for a number of reasons. There's lots to do here, like watch the waves/horses/birds, look at beautiful scenery, find a time and place that suits you, but getting there can sometimes be a long schlep if you don't have transport.
